What should I do before arrival?
Before arrival you should contact the accommodation to communicate the arrival time.Call us +39 090 9844168 or email us info@alerasalina.it.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 15 to 20 and check-out within 10:00. Guests can leave their luggage at the accommodation before check-in and after check-out time.
What credit cards do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and Pagobancomat.
Can I cancel my reservation?
Yes, within cancellation terms. Check terms and conditions.
Is there an Internet connection available?
Yes, wi-fi in available in the common area and in all rooms for free.
Do you accept animals?
No.
Do you have smoking rooms?
No, all rooms are no smoking. You can smoke outdoor.
What does the price include?
Each category of room includes different services, however all include: room & breakfast, daily cleaning, internet wi-fi, linen change: every other day, courtesy water on arrival.
Do you have a parking?
No. You can park on the road without too much difficulty, except for the month of August.
Do the rooms have sea view?
Some rooms have a terrace with partial sea view and soma have a terrace with total sea view.
Is there a laundry service available?
Upon request and payment is available an external laundry service.
Do you have a restaurant?
No, in town restaurants are within walking distance.
Is there a telephone with direct line in the rooms?
Yes, check all services and in room amenities. 
Is there a television in the rooms?
Yes, each room is equipped with satellite TV with international channels.
Do you accept groups?
Yes, we can accommodate up to 16 people in the room & Breakfast and an additional 10 people in our holiday apartments, located at 300 m of distance.
Do you have bay cot?
Yes, on request and subject to confirmation of the accommodation.
Do you work with agencies?
Yes, we reserve special rates for groups and agencies. See page Agencies.
How do I get to the accommodation from arrival port?
From the port of arrival you can take a taxi, the bus (www.trasportisalina.it) or reach us with your vehicle or rented car.

What services are there in town?
All main services: supermarket, shops, pharmacy, medical, bakery, butcher, fish shop, gas station, car rental, boutiques, bars, restaurants, tobacco shop, post office, bank with ATM, diving center, taxis, beauty center, pastry shops, boat rentals.

Do you organize transfer from Catania airport?
Yes, we are at your disposal to book transfers, hydrofoil tickets and everything you need for your trip.
Where do I get ferry tickets?
Directly from our website page Book your Ferry.
Are there any restrictions for car landing on the island?
No, at the moment. We suggest that you always book the ferry if you arrive by car.
Is it possible to rent cars /scooters on the island?
Yes, we will provide the service.
Is it possible to visit the other islands?
Yes, there are daily boat trips organized to other islands or you can go by hydrofoil independently. Salina, in the center of the archipelago, is a good base.
What does Salina offer during low season?
Salina, with its mountains of Monte Fossa delle Felci e Monte Porri, offers wonderful walks in close contact with nature. Guests can also go to the discovery of local products, food and wine events and cultural traditions, tastings. Depending on the period you will also have the opportunity to attend and learn about the harvest and the collection of the caper.
