The twelfth edition of Salina Isola Slow year will be held on 30 and 31 May and 1 June.
A series of proposals aimed at promoting awareness of the “Model Salina”, in which, the beautiful scenery, sustainable agriculture and rooted culinary traditions related to fishing and traditional agriculture are a vehicle of attraction for a tourism attentive and respectful environment. To characterize the event: a theater of taste on the issues of Aeolian gastronomy, wine tasting in the square made by the island’s restaurants and women slow, an excursion to the discovery of the highest mountain of the Aeolian archipelago, visit and taste workshops on monitoring Caper and Cucuncio Salina.

19:00 Teatro del Gusto in the square with local Chef accompanied by “MasterChef” Salvo Paolo Mangiapane, tasting dishes prepared by restaurants on the island and by women slow – “dish the chef and dish of the restaurant in Km 0 and 0 miles ”

12.00 Snack rustic on the model of “outing Eoliana” at the Rifugio Monte Rivi with Slow Food
16:00 (down the mountain) “HONEY MOON” – The marriage between the island and the Ape Nera Sicula for a Taste Workshop on “Honey Bee Black Sicula” with James Emanuele.
21:00 “GL-AMOUR” – Dinner and Taste Workshop on Malvasia dry and sweet with the cellars of the island at one of the most picturesque locations of the island.
